Integrated Education brings Catholic, Protestant and children of other and no faiths together in a school community, where, in a planned way, they learn to understand and respect each other’s differences. Each child's identity and religious cultural background is recognized and

valued. The planned integrated experience ensures that every child is equipped to live and work in a world where diversity is an increasing feature.

As principal of Carhill IPS, I am extremely proud of the fact that we are celebrating our 25^th anniversary as an integrated school. We owe our status to the vision that a group of committed, forward thinking parents and governors had all those years ago; a vision to provide an inclusive learning environment where every child fulfils its full potential.

It is our positive integrated ethos, that sense of belonging to a ‘family’ and that capacity to care, which has made our school the success it is today.
